Right now, I'm reading:
Barrel Fever by David Sedaris. Laughing out loud as I read it.
My favorite story of all time is:
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. If you meant short story, that's a lot harder.
In bed I like to read:
Poetry. I love rhythm and alliteration.
Besides SMITH, I read stories at:
The coffee shop, my desk, oh...well. Brevitymag.com is a great site for creative nonfiction.
If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
My actual autobiography. I'm sure no publisher would want to publish it. I'd be exasperated trying to find a publisher, saying, "It's the story of my life!" I know that's not what you're asking about, but I don't have one thing I say that about.
What six words would I tell my teen self if I could go back in time?
The zits go away. Wrinkles follow. I should "six" that!
The song that encapsulates the soundtrack of my life is?
"The Itsy Bitsy Spider." Stuff happens. You have to be able to go up the spout again.
If I could have one person read my writing on SMITH it would be?
