A Six-Word Memoir® is the story of your life—some part of it or all of it—told in exactly six words.

In classrooms and boardrooms, churches and synagogues, veteran's groups and across the dinner table, Six-Word Memoirs have become a powerful tool to catalyze conversation, spark imagination or simply break the ice.

Here on Six Words, we offer a simple platform to share the short, sharp story of your life, as well as provide daily prompts to share your six-word takes on the topics of our times.

More than half a million short stories have been shared here and on SmithTeens. Read more about six.

So give six a try—and make your words count.

Right now, I'm reading:
Everything I can find on writer's digest, and the complete works of Shakespeare.

My favorite story of all time is:
YOU CANNOT MAKE ME CHOOSE. I love Loki's story, he was never accepted. He was left in the darkness, so darkness he became. What makes it all the more potent to me is that Tom Hiddleston can produce that sort of darkness from inside his seemingly hilarious and joyful self. Anakin Skywalker. Same idea, really. He would do anything to succeed, to save what he loved, and in the end he lost it all. And Harry Potter. And Brutus, from Julius Caesar. He "That did love Caesar when I struck him", condemned himself and murdered his best friend for what he thought was the greater good. I guess I like the story of a good guy gone bad for good reason.

In bed I like to read:
Shakespeare. Specifically Julius Caesar, my favorite book (really play) of all time.

If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
Oops, they forgot about that other person sitting over here. Again.

The song that encapsulates the soundtrack of my life is?
Cosmic Love
