SixContest #100: #MyBodyMySixWords
Our bodies are as unique as our personalities, thoughts, and experiences—they can be loved and respected, but also judged and exploited. While one's physique may provide a source of pride, another's might cultivate feelings of shame. Fortunately, beauty will forever be in the eye of the beholder. That's why we're teaming up with the creators of the upcoming book of essays, "My Body, My Words" (Spring 2018) to celebrate bodies of all shapes, sizes, and colors. For this SixContest, join the conversation on body image and identity by writing a six-word letter to your own body. Your courageous self-expression could even land you a byline: the top six entries will be published in "My Body, My Words" and winning Sixers will receive a copy of the book. In Six Words, what do you want to say to your body?
Your Six Words can include a backstory (we love reading them), but please post only one entry per comment.
Remember to tag us and include #MyBodyMySixWords when posting your Six Words to Twitter and Instagram!
