lost too many. not you too

I've lost so many people in my life, I hate when friends slip away. If I didn't make the effort to keep in touch we would naturally go our separate ways but I don't want to separate. I don't want to forget him. I don't want to be forgotten. Friends and people come and go, but I've lost so many people that I didn't want to lose and that's made me clingy. I'll accept it with some, but others I want to keep in my life, but if they don't make the effort I guess it's not what they want and I should learn to let them go...
