A Six-Word Memoir® is the story of your life—some part of it or all of it—told in exactly six words.

In classrooms and boardrooms, churches and synagogues, veteran's groups and across the dinner table, Six-Word Memoirs have become a powerful tool to catalyze conversation, spark imagination or simply break the ice.

Here on Six Words, we offer a simple platform to share the short, sharp story of your life, as well as provide daily prompts to share your six-word takes on the topics of our times.

More than half a million short stories have been shared here. Read more about six.

So give six a try—and make your words count.

Teabaggers steeping Americans in Big Oil.

by RetroYeti on August 1, 2011   |  FacebooktwitterTumblr

The Americans in the Tea Party are as well intentioned as any other group. I'm against big government, but I'm also against the big organizations that financially back the Tea Party. I think that the party planted people that aren't career politicians (which should be a good thing, but somehow it's not!)in order to control any progress that doesn't meet their own personal needs. I'm afraid the plan they (hopefully) are forced to "execute" in congress today might execute the middle class and leave us vulnerable to corporations that don't care about the world we're creating right now for our next generation.
