SIX WORD » LIFE

Invested 5 hours, wasted 300 minutes

by sisterpoet on August 6, 2011   |  FacebooktwitterTumblr

I enjoy meeting new people. After spending about 45 minutes with someone recently and completely enjoying myself, I was reminded of a time about a year ago when I could almost feel the energy pouring out of my body as I tried to connect with someone. No such luck. After 5 hours, I left exhausted and annoyed but informed. Trust my instinct. Know when to fold um. Should have high tailed it out of there really early on.
