A Six-Word Memoir® is the story of your life—some part of it or all of it—told in exactly six words.

In classrooms and boardrooms, churches and synagogues, veteran's groups and across the dinner table, Six-Word Memoirs have become a powerful tool to catalyze conversation, spark imagination or simply break the ice.

Here on Six Words, we offer a simple platform to share the short, sharp story of your life, as well as provide daily prompts to share your six-word takes on the topics of our times.

More than half a million short stories have been shared here. Read more about six.

So give six a try—and make your words count.

Found a man worth cooking for.

by MsKillie on November 15, 2011   |  FacebooktwitterTumblr

My sweets has brought so much passion into my life- it has turned up the heat even in the kitchen. Some of my favorite dates have been the cooking classes that we take together- from tofu to sushi, we've mastered it all! We are even talking about opening up a vegetarian restaurant together some day. This week alone I've tested out recipes for mashed potato stuffed peppers, Leine's beer cheese soup, butternut squash hummus, tortilla soup, pickled radishes, homemade mozz sticks, squash/goat cheese stuffed shells, and veggie meatloaf. I never enjoyed being stuck in the kitchen until I fell in love; now I adore keeping my man's belly full of delicious homemade vegetarian chow. :)
