A Six-Word Memoir® is the story of your life—some part of it or all of it—told in exactly six words.

In classrooms and boardrooms, churches and synagogues, veteran's groups and across the dinner table, Six-Word Memoirs have become a powerful tool to catalyze conversation, spark imagination or simply break the ice.

Here on Six Words, we offer a simple platform to share the short, sharp story of your life, as well as provide daily prompts to share your six-word takes on the topics of our times.

More than half a million short stories have been shared here and on SmithTeens. Read more about six.

So give six a try—and make your words count.

Trees now increasing global warming rate

by thepariah on June 17, 2012   |  FacebooktwitterTumblr

In yet another study contradicting previous studies, trees in the arctic *where they have grown before and likely will grow again* are "priming" the tundra to release more CO2 than the trees use when they are growing.

Yeah, so maybe we should DIG them UP to preserve the precious tundra.

I really wish that the alarmists, constantly screaming that the sky is falling, would shut up the hype and concentrate on figuring out what and how much different processes affect climate. The models are useless, we don't understand even the full effects of CLOUDS.

Notice again the use of the weasel words like 'could' 'might' 'it is thought' which to the discerning reader point out that we just don't know.
