Never say "Things can't get...

Made the mistake of making this statement a few months after my Father died. Within weeks my Mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer beginning a 3 1/2 year battle for life. I know saying those words didn't make bad things happen. But I know I was wrong and I'll never make that statement again!
