A Six-Word Memoir® is the story of your life—some part of it or all of it—told in exactly six words.

In classrooms and boardrooms, churches and synagogues, veteran's groups and across the dinner table, Six-Word Memoirs have become a powerful tool to catalyze conversation, spark imagination or simply break the ice.

Here on Six Words, we offer a simple platform to share the short, sharp story of your life, as well as provide daily prompts to share your six-word takes on the topics of our times.

More than half a million short stories have been shared here and on SmithTeens. Read more about six.

So give six a try—and make your words count.

SIX WORD » LIFE

I feel joy coming on…unnerving.

by _Miracle on December 6, 2012   |  FacebooktwitterTumblr

I think this started with my early thanksgiving with L2L3 and her family.
One of my loved ones is flying me home for Christmas and my other loved ones are filling up my dance card. It will be a week in my state of California with most of my dear ones. My truck has sold, this months bills are paid…things look…dare I say….hopeful.

I don’t know what to do with this happiness;-)but I'm tryin to go with it.

I’ll be whiney and morose shortly after I get back but for now…
I feel a funk fading away.

This time last year was very heavy and dark…I feel less seized and more hopeful
