A Six-Word Memoir® is the story of your life—some part of it or all of it—told in exactly six words.

In classrooms and boardrooms, churches and synagogues, veteran's groups and across the dinner table, Six-Word Memoirs have become a powerful tool to catalyze conversation, spark imagination or simply break the ice.

Here on Six Words, we offer a simple platform to share the short, sharp story of your life, as well as provide daily prompts to share your six-word takes on the topics of our times.

More than half a million short stories have been shared here. Read more about six.

So give six a try—and make your words count.

Imagining a new year, warranty included.

by NumbrOneAunt on January 1, 2013   |  FacebooktwitterTumblr

it gets complex...so, one has this warranty and thereby has some kind of direct communication with God so they can say, "i'm sorry, but february 2013 just really did not live up to my expectations. i'd like to request a replacement, please." when the replacement is issued, does it mean that every single person with whom the warranty holder had contact in february 2013 would then potentially have THEIR month altered because of the warranty holder's replacement month? what if the change was not to someone's liking and they used their warranty to request a replacement month? and no, i am neither drunk nor hung over :) wishing everyone the best in 2013, one day at a time!
