this memoir was inspired by the lyrics of a song called "happy in my heartache", from josh groban's forthcoming album: "i can't find a reason/to be happy in this heartache/i should know better than that/i'm better than that." it's been ten years since the man i loved dumped me, and i've never been able to take the "it's HIS loss!" attitude. wonder if it would help if i could. sometimes think i'll always see myself as the one he left behind. not happy in my heartache, but it's still here...
