What are your weird moment coincidences?

by marymc on March 23, 2013   |  FacebooktwitterTumblr

We all have them, looking back. Where the stars align and bizarre coincidences occur. In 1977, I was a freshman in high school. I made a new friend and we went to see a movie together... it was our first social interaction. Her parents had to drive both ways because my parents were at the funeral of my dad's best friend. He died tragically young. One year later, I was at the funeral of that girl who had become my best friend, dying tragically young. The movie we had gone to see? "The Competition". Richard Dreyfuss & Amy Irving. In it they mention, by name, my husband's uncle.
