Snow in March. Such a thing?

by TonLovejoy on March 26, 2013   |  FacebooktwitterTumblr

As I was walking out of my house this morning it was very lightly snowing. Since when does Georgia get snow in March!? For the past couple days it has randomly started snowing. Everytime the weather has decided to snow it happened to be when I was driving. So glad it was only light snow and not heavy. My family and I moved south to get away from cold weather, it seems it has followed. I moved from Connecticut going on four years this September. As we all know Connecticut get loads of snow. Which my family and I didn't like at all so we made a huge decision to move down south to Georgia. We loved the warm weather when we got here but when it became winter that first year we were here it happened to snow. It wasn't only the snow that came but severe ice had formed. It happend to be when my mother and I was going an hour away to pick my sister up from her friends house. We were fine until we had reached the road we were picking her up on. We had seen a car already sliding off the road into a ditch. My mother and I were iffy about going down the road but we had no time to even think about it, we were already sliding on a ice patch.
