Played another practical joke on ex-boss

by jl333 on March 31, 2013   |  FacebooktwitterTumblr

Last year I played the best practical joke ever on my boss. My boss vowed that she would never be tricked by me again. So when she and her family moved to Australia, she thought she was safe from all practical jokes. But leave it up to me to come up with something so outrageous, it was almost believable. Australia is one day ahead of us...so today is April 1rst. Guess I caught my boss off guard when I told her there's a moving truck at her rental house and the tenants are moving out. She was stumped and messaged me saying that they hadn't informed her that they were not renewing the lease (I'm the property manager for her while she is in Australia). I went on and on saying how the garage is thrashed, etc. There was a long break in between messaging, so I knew right away that she was panicking and contacting her husband. She started asking questions, to which I had answers. Finally, I gave in and asked what was today's date? A couple more clues and she got it.
