In charge of the fish bowl.

My sister is getting married today, so last night we were decorating. She originally wanted her and M plus their combined 4 kids to sit at one table. But wasn't going to work ... so we decided to sit the kids at a table next to them. Simple right ... but then she gets a panicked look and blurts ...they wont have a centerpiece. I don't have any extra, don't have time to get to the store.

I'm a quick thinker, I said "Stop, it will be ok. I have a new glass decorator bowl at home, I'll stop by Walmart and buy a blue beta fish and that will be their centerpiece. Crisis averted.

Goodness, I spent all evening averting mini crisis. Covered the fire extinguisher with fabric so it wouldn't be an ugly spot in the background of pictures, re-arranged the flowers in one bouquet because they were too tall for the area, and a few others.

Glad I was there to be a calming force.
