Baby bumps pass the dress code.

An interaction between myself and my 12 year old daughter:

"So, Mom, it finally happened. A girl in my grade at school is pregnant."

"Wow," choking on my iced tea, "and what do you think about that?"

"Well, technically this is her second pregnancy. She had an abortion earlier this year when she was still 12. She announced on Facebook that she is keeping this baby and that her and her 15 year old boyfriend are going to raise the baby."

"Oh, I'm sure that will work out splendidly!" Choking on sarcasm this time.

"You know what I don't understand, Mama?"

"What's that, Gabrielle?"

"How it's against dress code for me to wear a shirt with sleeves less than three inches wide because its provocative. But she can wear a baby bump."
