A Six-Word Memoir® is the story of your life—some part of it or all of it—told in exactly six words.

In classrooms and boardrooms, churches and synagogues, veteran's groups and across the dinner table, Six-Word Memoirs have become a powerful tool to catalyze conversation, spark imagination or simply break the ice.

Here on Six Words, we offer a simple platform to share the short, sharp story of your life, as well as provide daily prompts to share your six-word takes on the topics of our times.

More than half a million short stories have been shared here. Read more about six.

So give six a try—and make your words count.

SIX WORD » LIFE

Too young for mystery heart problems.

by BecomingLuke on May 7, 2013   |  FacebooktwitterTumblr

In the last 72 hours my heart rate hasn't dropped below 100, and the beats were starting to run together to where they couldn't be counted. And my blood pressure is so low that I can't stand up without passing out, so it's dropped below normal (102/89).

And my doctors are considering admitting me to the hospital if it doesn't slow down soon.

I don't need any more health problems, not right now... They can come back in about 60 years, then I won't mind... But I'm trying to be a normal 18 year old right now.
