My facial recognition software needs updating.

For some reason, I have a complete inability to recognize people. My hubby can recognize a person he knew in kindergarten, whereas I can watch a tv show and see an actor that was on a different show an hour earlier, and I couldn't tell you where I know them from. I find myself saying hi to people all the time that I know I know, but no idea from where. I just hope I never have to identify someone in a police lineup or describe a perp to a sketch artist...
