When we are at the lake, there seem to be so many creatures to chase, contain, and observe from the vented plastic "critter" box that grandma has for Olivia. She likes the frogs and toads the best, but we've also caught butterflies and moths from time to time. In the lake, it's the minnows. Now that takes skill. "They are smart," Olivia says. "They know we want to catch them and they don't want to be caught."
We always provide habitat and water and we always let them go in a timely fashion... but the close up look is a priceless reward.
So, what do you catch?
