California dreamin' ended in California nightmare.

James and I left Wisconsin in November 1985, before the cold winter months arrived and moved to California. We packed up all our worldly belonging in a blue, VW bus. We settled into an active, healthy, successful life. It ended on March 2, 2013, when he died of advanced colon cancer at the age of 49 after a three year battle.
