A Six-Word Memoir® is the story of your life—some part of it or all of it—told in exactly six words.

In classrooms and boardrooms, churches and synagogues, veteran's groups and across the dinner table, Six-Word Memoirs have become a powerful tool to catalyze conversation, spark imagination or simply break the ice.

Here on Six Words, we offer a simple platform to share the short, sharp story of your life, as well as provide daily prompts to share your six-word takes on the topics of our times.

More than half a million short stories have been shared here. Read more about six.

So give six a try—and make your words count.

SIX WORD » LIFE

Colleagues became friends who celebrate together.

by Amapola on July 11, 2013   |  FacebooktwitterTumblr

Today I had another wonderful day.

First a picnic brainstorm meeting at the dunes and a walk at the beach with two lovely boys, with whom I can dream and imagine the world we want to build with www.dock20.org

Then, a lovely get together with 5 fantastic ladies/colleagues from my uni, who came over and made a little birthday party for me. They cooked and brought drinks and we talked about life, family, love and our students.

Blessed to have such wonderful people in my life.

I'm so grateful to have colleagues I can call friends.
