In a radio essay for BBC radio about the end of the telegram, columnist Diane Roberts mentioned the famous Cary Grant telegram reply, as regards brevity in communication. She also talked about text messaging, Twitter, and . . . she quoted the original six, perhaps uttered by our "founding father ".
