I'm on my guard against nostalgia, which has a way of sucking me into depression.

As Canadian songwriter Michel Rivard wrote:

Je n'aime pas la nostalgie,
c'est une maƮtresse inassouvie
aux yeux trop bleus.

I don't like nostalgia,
She's an insatiable mistress
with eyes too blue
