Torn between a trip to the U.P., where I would most like to be, and a trip to Florida where my FIL has been hospitalized for almost a month. Of course I know what I perhaps should do, but my mental jury has a holdout. Even in an incapacitated state, I suspect that he'll not only recognize me but continue to treat me as though I have not a single, functional brain cell. I think I see Aurora Borealis in my immediate future. Mine eyes have seen the glory...
