A Six-Word Memoir® is the story of your life—some part of it or all of it—told in exactly six words.

In classrooms and boardrooms, churches and synagogues, veteran's groups and across the dinner table, Six-Word Memoirs have become a powerful tool to catalyze conversation, spark imagination or simply break the ice.

Here on Six Words, we offer a simple platform to share the short, sharp story of your life, as well as provide daily prompts to share your six-word takes on the topics of our times.

More than half a million short stories have been shared here and on SmithTeens. Read more about six.

So give six a try—and make your words count.

Play Matchmaker? Do we know enough...

by ShellDeFelice on August 27, 2013   |  FacebooktwitterTumblr

...to conjur up the perfect mate for each other? Just for fun, I'll start with JL...hmmmm
He should be tall and look thin but be extremely strong and sporty. He loves the water and has several jetskis. He is not very mechanical but she doesn't mind because she is and he loves that about her. He fluffs a mean pillow and always has her spot on his couch fluff ready because he knows she does enough fluffing every day all day. He bakes the most incredible bread (his Mom gave him a bread maker the year she died and he makes all her favorites because it feels like home when he does).
His pet peeves are fried food and guys who worry about scratches on their cars. He loves kids, thinks they are the magic that make up the light in any day but wasn't able to have any of his own. He loves and admires that JL is a Mom to so many.
He cares about the community and volunteers with several groups to eradicate cancer. He grew up in the midwest and worships the weather in San Diego...he would never leave!
So...you get the idea????
