A Six-Word Memoir® is the story of your life—some part of it or all of it—told in exactly six words.

In classrooms and boardrooms, churches and synagogues, veteran's groups and across the dinner table, Six-Word Memoirs have become a powerful tool to catalyze conversation, spark imagination or simply break the ice.

Here on Six Words, we offer a simple platform to share the short, sharp story of your life, as well as provide daily prompts to share your six-word takes on the topics of our times.

More than half a million short stories have been shared here. Read more about six.

So give six a try—and make your words count.

Fine then. Let's take a survey

Today I went out to lunch with my friend. I downed my lunch way before him. as I was eating my fries, I'd eat 2 or 3 at a time, while he ate 1 French Fry at a time. I said I've never seen anybody (other than babies and the elderly) eat just one fry at a time. He said most people do. I told him him, I doubt it...almost everybody I know eats 2 or 3 like me. I'm doing the survey on my own...for my own satisfaction. He has no idea I'm taking a poll. So, tell me, do you eat just one fry, or more than one eat time you take a bite?
