She remembered me and my advice.

by JAD on December 5, 2013   |  FacebooktwitterTumblr

She approached me suddenly out of the blue as I sat waiting for my car to be serviced. She said my name and asked if I knew who she was and no I did not, she told me who she was and then I began to remember slightly some parts of her face. For she had aged; I'm sure she thought the same thing about me for it had been sixteen years. We had worked together a few short years and then she left. She asked me if I was still working there and I told her I had retired and named everyone that was still working and those that were gone. She then began to me tell me how I had given her advice concerning her daughter that she used time and time again and how it worked and she used that same advice on her son later. She had been so grateful. Long story short you never know what effect you might have on a person's life at the time. Good advice, is good.
