Six-Word Caption Contest #13: Fallon Takes Over The Tonight Show
The mic has been passed! On Monday, February 17, Jimmy Fallon debuts as host of The Tonight Show. He’s taking over from long-standing host Jay Leno and taking the show back to its roots in New York City.
Fallon also has roots in Six, sharing his own Six-Word Memoir with his audience during an interview with Gayle King shortly after Oprah Magazine featured the project: "Not funny. Funny. Not Funny. Funny?”
Using this photo as inspiration, tell us your six words about Jimmy Fallon and his new gig. Is he ready for the new time slot? Is the new time slot ready for him? What’s your favorite moment from his first broadcast? Or simply write a Six-Word Memoir for Jimmy himself. There’s sure to be plenty of rich material—just remember to Say It In Six!
Submit your Six-Word Caption Contest entries in the comments below, or on our Facebook page (SMITH Magazine|The Six-Word Memoir Project), or tag us on Twitter (@sixwords) or Tumblr (sixwordmemoirs).
We’ll post our Top Six favorites on the Six-Word Caption Contest blog and via social media. Our first place winner will receive the coolest key tag ever, personalized with the six words of his or her choice, thanks to our friends at the hip design company, Various Projects (www.variouskeytags.com)
This Six-Word Caption Contest runs through Friday, February 21, 5pm EST.
