A Six-Word Memoir® is the story of your life—some part of it or all of it—told in exactly six words.

In classrooms and boardrooms, churches and synagogues, veteran's groups and across the dinner table, Six-Word Memoirs have become a powerful tool to catalyze conversation, spark imagination or simply break the ice.

Here on Six Words, we offer a simple platform to share the short, sharp story of your life, as well as provide daily prompts to share your six-word takes on the topics of our times.

More than half a million short stories have been shared here and on SmithTeens. Read more about six.

So give six a try—and make your words count.

SIX WORD » LIFE

Friends call it creepy. I don't.

It has not failed. Almost a dozen times in one week, unusual heart shaped things are appearing in the most odd places. My friends say it's not unique anymore, and it's old news each time a new heart appears. They've even called it creepy and say its weirding them out. It doesn't creep me out. I'm going along for the ride, wondering where in the world I'll be when the next heart just randomly appears! I sense that love is just following me wherever I go. I can't explain it, nor will I try. This chip was found today while I was at the San Diego Zoo. This picture of the chip has not been altered in any way.
