I had an exceptionally bad day a couple of weeks ago. And just when I had thought that my phone would stop buzzing, it started again. And I was short. It was a student. She's a teen and a night owl. And I didn't want to chat about boyfriends and tomorrow's outfit. She sensed this and asked what was wrong. "Nothing. Just a long day." She responded, "get a cup of coffee and relax on your couch"
I found it amazing that she knew what I do to make my days a little happier. Something little that makes my bad day dissipate.
