My son the naturalist waxed eloquent about the preservation of the ubiquitous little yellow flower and its importance to the bee. To his facebook post I added my own simple joy at the sight of their sunny faces, a symbol of summer pleasures yet in store. And then my father, a man of few words, added his own thoughts. "I never met a dandelion I didn't like."
