A Six-Word Memoir® is the story of your life—some part of it or all of it—told in exactly six words.

In classrooms and boardrooms, churches and synagogues, veteran's groups and across the dinner table, Six-Word Memoirs have become a powerful tool to catalyze conversation, spark imagination or simply break the ice.

Here on Six Words, we offer a simple platform to share the short, sharp story of your life, as well as provide daily prompts to share your six-word takes on the topics of our times.

More than half a million short stories have been shared here. Read more about six.

So give six a try—and make your words count.

One rough situation made me tenacious.

Tenacious Is the strongest word because it shows how strong I got after a very strong situation. When I was younger I had to grow up at a vey young age. I didn't have a choose to do what ever I wanted. I had to grow up Learn to cook learn to clean learn how to take care of some one. It was all one me. I was 11 years old left my childhood behind to be the best daughter and sister my family can ask for. Until this day I still have to live my personal life behind. I'm 16 years old it been 5 years it doesn't get easier it just gets harder.
