About Me

Right now, I'm reading:
"Unknown Pleasures: Inside Joy Division," by Peter Hook. Also the backs of cereal boxes, milk cartons, shampoo bottles--pretty much anything with words put in front of me!

My favorite story of all time is:
Impossible to pick, but I am a true sucker for "The Catcher in the Rye."

In bed I like to read:
"How To Get Your Spouse to Stop Snoring," by I.M. Going Crazy.

Besides SMITH, I read stories at:
McSweeney's Internet Tendency. Oh, and I can't get enough Kardashian stories. Keep 'em coming, Yahoo--so riveting.

If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell \"it's the story of my life,\" what would you be talking about?
Many regrets and darn time won't slow down!

What six words would I tell my teen self if I could go back in time?
Fly that freak flag. Don't conform.

The song that encapsulates the soundtrack of my life is?
Harder than picking a favorite story, but gotta be something from the 80s--my favorite decade! Yes, I am OLD, peeps!

If I could have one person read my writing on SMITH it would be?
My fourth grade teacher. Look, Mrs. S! I AM finding creative outlets! Thanks for the encouragement!
