I don't know about you, but I have always believed that breaks are a bunch of BS. I've always seen it as a \"nice\" way to leave someone. To give them some sort of hope so you don't get completely heart broken. I always think of that Friends' episode, when Ross sleeps with someone else because him and Racheal were on a break (\"But we were on a break!!\"). And despite knowing this, I think when on \"breaks\" a part of the heart secretly hopes and prays that things will be resolved.
