I was born in Bogota, Colombia and adopted from a nun-run orphanage at 4 months of age. I have no knowledge of my birthmother and searching for her years later led to a series of dead ends. I came to terms with the question marks of my origin and learned to value the life I was given and the relationship built only and always en-utero.
