As a child growing up in Brooklyn, my experience was rich to say the least. I was aware of differences, but they mattered little. So some people ate this, others ate that, some wore this, others wore that. One day, a business associate of my Grandfather shook my hand as he was leaving the deli. I noticed he had numbers that I thought were a tattoo. Of course they were not. The story to discover his story is a long and personal one. Suffice it to say, Oscar changed my life with one simple handshake.
