This probably sounds strange to most people, but I've been saying for years, \"I just want to be boring.\" For the first time in a long, long time, there's nothing dramatic -- nothing \"novel-worthy.\" And it's great! I go to work at a job I've held (and love) for 6 years, kids are healthy and doing well in school. I have good friends. I come home at night, make dinner, do dishes, help with homework, read stories, and go to bed early.

It really is the little stuff -- not the big events -- that makes a life. It's amazing.
