I find myself asking this question everywhere I go. People see me and assume I won't understand them or can't speak for myself. I realize I look \"different\" and am difficult to understand, but ask what you're asking to me, not my caregiver, friend, etc. Try to understand my speech. If you can't, then say so and we'll get help. I'm not invisible.
