It rained. I ran. She wheezed.

I'm on a business trip with a small group in Savannah. If you've been watching the weather, you've seen the radar.

It's raining.

Anyway, we went out to eat our first night at the conference. We are here for two reasons: to learn about education stuff and to learn one another. We are the \"Involvement Team\" for our district.

We eat, then go to leave. It's pouring. There's five of us and three umbrellas. I have a jacket and an umbrella, so I offer my umbrella to one of my new peoples, and throw my jacket over my head. I take off out the door, assuming my party is behind me. I was mistaken.

Due to safety concerns, one of the ladies decides to catch up with me; she doesn't want me to walk alone. I'm oblivious until I hear her call me name.

I stop under a covered area, and she catches me. Something about the jaunt has upset her asthma -- she needs her inhaler.

Thank you, sweet lady, for catching up with me. Safety in numbers and all. I'm very sorry that your good deed ended with a breathing device.

(I didn't tell this well, but it's 12:43 a.m. and I'm nodding off with my laptop in my \"lap\".)
