Watched a boy bury his hero.

My friend's husband died this week. He was 57. Brain tumor. 14 months ago, he was given a year. His family kept to themselves, tending to him privately. Today, their son struggled to sum up his dad, his hero. He had words written but put them aside and spoke from his broken heart. He openly sobbed; drawing us in to his loss and pain. Urging us to live our lives the way his father had taught him. Honestly. With dignity. Openly loving our family and friends. With purpose. Ron Kadah's legacy is his beautiful boy who became a man before he was ready, but was taught well.
