Today, I had fun... I don't know what it was, but I just had these moments, glimpses of how school may not be so bad. I realized a while back that I didnt really enjoy any of my classes. Each day was hard because I didn't really have anything in the day to look forward to. Today, I caution-tapped my teacher's door shut with one of friends after class. (long story behind that one:) He's the kid that bugs the teacher, but somehow always gets away with it. I always wonder how he stayed so positive because he's got a lot to live up to, but today I think I figured it out. Goofing off sometimes isnt so bad. It's a nice break, and if its harmless, then it's probably good for me. I went to a school event last night too where we play games like tug of war and dodgeball. I hadnt been to one of these things before because I never had the time. Somehow, I had that time last night and I had an amazing night. It dawned on me that I wasnt the only one who liked to have good clean fun still. I'm not alone in loving the little things like dancing in the rain.
....Still, I have my doubts. I'm not doing as well in school as I would like.. its only midmarking period, but we get a \"how your child in doing so far\" report sent home at the end of this week. I hope my parents wont be worried. I've accepted that I'm doing my best, but they may think something's wrong if my grades arent where they usually are. I don't want them to take sports away from me and that would be the first thing to go. I like being happy, but I don't know how this is all going to play out. I need the grades too, if not more...
