My favorite part of any given week day is early-morning. My ride picks me up around 6:45 and she's my favorite person to talk to, my inspiration, and selfless role model. I trust her more than most -- in a way it's like she's my super-cool long-lost aunt or something. For 15 minutes every morning and every afternoon, my world is at peace and I have someone to talk to and listen to, which is crucial at such an insane time in my life. Early-morning and afternoon rides are an intermediate escape between the craziness of home and school and life, and I am incredibly grateful.
