Are teachers always right about ADHD?

My dear friend's little boy goes to a private, Christian school. Very small enrollment; he is the only one in the second grade, which is taught by a teacher who also has grades K and 1. He is 7. The teacher has begun a campaign to bully the parents into taking their (IMO) normal, healthy, active little boy in to a doctor to be medicated because he \"can't sit still.\"

I have known the child since birth, and have raised boys of my own, plus caring for my nephews and the neighbor's son while their moms worked. He seems like a perfectly normal bright, active little boy to me. But the teacher wants him medicated into submission.
