It's all a matter of packaging

My Dad has a great saying ...opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one and they all stink. Another great one is \"same s#*t, different bow. So I look at what is on the table, the package. I can be fooled by the packaging, wrapped up in the packaging. Upon closer inspection, the package with the pink bow is the same s%*t as the package with the black bow. If I allow myself to be lulled by the lure of what looks good/what looks right/what should be...I ignore the reality that underneath it is basically all the same. Life requires much of me, always has and apparently always will. It requires much of all of us. Some appear more equipped than others to roll with all the punches. Some days I consider myself one of them...the competent, the strong, the beacons of light and life and hope. And other days, I am just human.
