People often forgotten behind the words.

I've always been slightly egocentric. I always look at things and ask how that relates to me or how that reflects how I feel. Sometimes I forget there are other people around, which I admit, is not very nice of me.

When I read six word memoirs, the first thing that registers with me is not the person behind it, but the words itself. Always, \"I like how it's worded\" or \"This is so me.\" Thus follows the favorited memoir. Then suddenly I realize a person wrote this, and they might not have been having such a good day. I don't always realize this in time, and I apologize.

To this community of six word poets, it's easy to forget a person behind their beautiful words, especially on the Internet. It's also easy to forget the source of a well known quote, just saying.

Fellow poets, you've just become real to me. I apologize for the tongue in cheek. You guys are great.
