Socrates was said to have replied when he was told that he was the wisest man of all that he was because he knew he knew nothing. I aspire to live by this philosophy in some form. I want to continue to be a responsible person who gathers info before making a wise decision. Yet I want the freedom to make mistakes perhaps and know that to a certain extent, I know nothing. I do not know what the next day will bring. I need to be ok with that. I need to do the best I can everyday with what is in front of me and take on the task of the new day with a confidence that is unshakable. Not knowing everything is not to be ignorant or weak, it is indeed a sign of greatness. I have a long way to go.
