When he left for the Marines I promised him that I wouldn't miss him too much, and that I'd skype him a lot and still talk to him.
This is the first time in over a month that I've got to talk to him, and he can hardly respond because he's doing a million things and is on the other side of the world.

Before he left he said he was going to try his hardest to be back to see me graduate, and I now know that it's not going to be possible. And it's just now hitting me that he still has another 18 months of this deployment.

He's not biologically my brother, but he'll always be my big brother... and I miss him like crazy.
