Some people (Joan) annoy me without knowing it. Others (nameless) know damn well they are pissing me off. Both are aware of the crap I've been dealing with. Both are important to me, 2 of the very few who I consider in my inner circle, yet each has found a unique way to just get to me. One finishes my sentences. The other constantly invites me to do a bunch of outdoorsy stuff that I have absolutely no interest in, and relentlessly nags when I decline. I have (calmly) explained to each that I would prefer they not continue. Now that they know, they do it more. What kind of people do this? Gentle teasing is one thing, but constant harassment?
