Many years ago, I worked in a restaurant where the drama was never-ending. A friend and I always said we should write a sit-com about it. Two of the teatured characters would be the owner/manager, who would surely run the place into ruin with her lack of food service know-how, and our resident gossip hound, who knew EVERYTHING about EVERYONE...or made it up if she didn't.
